A Multifunctional Space for Electric Cars and Public Recreation
Purpose
The Nexus is a dynamic open space designed to function as both a charging and parking station for electric vehicles, as well as a public park. It offers a unique experience where visitors can charge their electric cars, enjoy the rooftop park, or work in a café on the ground floor.
Design
The design features two distinct ramps: one for vehicles to access the second-floor parking area and another for pedestrians to ascend from the street level to the rooftop park. A central spiral staircase seamlessly connects these levels, ensuring fluid movement throughout The Nexus.
Location
The Nexus is designed to transform an existing empty lot, currently serving as a basic parking area, into a multifunctional space that maximizes its potential. By integrating a more efficient parking garage with increased capacity and powering it with solar energy, The Nexus enhances the utility of the site while contributing to sustainable urban development.
