About
My name is Catalina Cepeda
I am a Senior Architecture student at Parsons School of Design with a deep passion for sustainable design and a growing interest in landscaping and exterior environments. My work centers on creating environmentally responsible spaces that meet the needs of their users while enhancing and harmonizing with the natural and built context. I am particularly drawn to how thoughtful exterior design and landscaping can shape user experience, support biodiversity, and contribute to a site’s ecological health.

As a student I strive to integrate sustainability into every aspect of my work, using innovative design strategies to create spaces that are both functional and beautiful. As I continue to develop my skills, I am committed to a career in sustainable architecture where environmental responsibility, aesthetic sensitivity, and ethical practice align.
During my time at Parsons, I have developed strong proficiency in architectural design software such as Rhino, Enscape, Ladybug, AutoCAD, and Revit as well as many Adobe softwares. These tools enable me to produce detailed 3D models, conduct environmental analyses, and generate realistic renderings that bring both interior and exterior design concepts to life. Apart from digital software, I have learnt to create detailed hand drawings and collages that portray my vision of the project.
I am always eager to explore new tools and methods that allow me to deepen my understanding of landscape integration and strengthen the environmental performance of my designs.
